The 4-H Club meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Helen Lehmann Memorial Library.  

The Homework Assistance program for Students who need help with homework or volunteer hours for school programs meets on Monday's and Wednesday's 4 - 6 pm from August 31, 2015.

The physical address for Town Hall and the Franklin Pearce Jr. Auditorium is 17404 Sixth Street, Montverde, FL 34756. The mailing address is P.O. Box 560008, Montverde, FL 34756. 


Town Hall will be closed on Monday September 5, 2016 in observance of Labor Day.  As always, residents can leave any correspondence in the green utility box in the Town Hall parking lot, and staff will collect it on the next business day.    


Mayor Joe Wynkoop would like to invite all residents to attend the upcoming Council Meeting.  It will take place on September 13, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. There will be a period of Citizen Questions and Public Comment at the beginning of the meeting.  

The First Public Hearing for the 2017 Budget will take place on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at 6:30 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium.
The Final Public Hearing for the 2017 Budget will take place on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 6:30 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium.

This years election will take place on November 8, 2016. 

  Voting will take place at First Baptist Church Montverde, Eighth Street,

between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. 

    The following candidates for Montverde Council will be on the ballot:

    Council Seats (2) - Billy Bates, Jim Peacock, Jim Pierce and Roxana Stan

Stegal, Lake County Supervisor of Elections would like to remind residents that they may obtain voter registration information, register to vote, request an absentee ballot and update their voter registration record by contacting the Supervisor of Elections Office at (352) 343-9734 or online at .

Books close for the upcoming County, Municipal and Presidential Election on October 11, 2015. Early voting  begins October 24 and goes thru November 5, 2016. Voting day is on November 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Eighth Street, Montverde between 7 am and 7 pm.

Florida Statutes require that you be registered to vote in the State of Florida 29 days prior to an election.
