Jim Peacock
I am lifelong resident of Florida and have lived in Montverde to 28 years. I have been married to my wife Robin for 34 years. We have two children, Bethany and Cassie. I am retired from a 40 year career in commercial construction. We live on the south side of Lake Florence and are actively involved in lake life. I was instrumental in obtaining grants which allowed the installation of the aeration system in Lake Florence and also diverting some of the storm water drainage. Also, for 20 years, I have been sampling the lake water for the LakeWatch program at the University of Florida that tracks long range nutrient loading in lake waters. Some of my hobbies are water skiing, target archery and knife throwing. We love living in Montverde and I will continue to work hard to control growth and maintain the quality of life that we all enjoy.
