The Code Enforcement Board is a quasi-judicial body whose duty it is to conduct hearings in regard to code and ordinance violations and enforcement. It is a five member body of town residents who are appointed by Town Council for initial periods of three years, and whose terms are not limited. Hearings are scheduled at the request of the Mayor. The Code Enforcement Board represents varied community interests and possesses diverse educational, professional and civic backgrounds. Procedures and actions, including fines and liens, are mandated by the State of Florida.
